June 28th - I decided to bring my camera on a short power walk and explored the areas around 150 North Riverside and Riverpoint Park. You an still find little pockets, oases if you will, from the thrum of the city - even thought the chaos is right there.
May 25th - Into The Loop for some harsh midday light. Purposely looking for shadows and geometry. 17,500 steps later I have a few shots to work through. Here's what I've edited so far:

May 11th - I'm was still dealing with my frozen shoulder injury (adhesive capsulitis) and quickly realized that I couldn't really hold my Tamron 70-180mm. Here's a peek at the few that I took before ditching the outing and heading home.

in midst of all of the glass, steel, brick, and concrete - suddenly - graceful vermillion arches swoop and soar clashing with the rote grid lines and you feel a bit better
